Located on the right bank of the Loire river, opposite the vineyards of Sancerre. Villebois makes this wonderful sauvignon blanc with its remarkable and characteristic fusil/gun powder smell and taste. Villebois Pouilly-Fumé is an extremely elegant Sauvignon Blanc. A truly pure and well-made wine. These sauvignon blanc grapes are grown on the three main Pouilly sur Loire terroirs: Villiers and Barrois limestones, marls with oyster shells, clayey-flint soils.
